| Technical details about Installing and Uninstalling. This
version is fully working,
As DEMO version it is limited to 1000 points and 3 lines of text, and can vecorise two
demo bitmaps which are included.
After registration, as JUNIOR version, it will handle up to 128.000 points,
which is more than enough for all drawings.
After registering the TEXTmodule, it can handle up to 500 textlines.
After registering the Vectorising module, it can vectorise all bitmaps. |
Technical notes for installing
Installing uses a simplified installing procedure to limit the download time.
The most important libraryfiles are installed, but a full installation as suggested
by Microsoft would require 16 Mb to download.
After testing on different systems, it seems that the library files supported by this
limited setup,
are sufficient for all systems.
If you get errors when you start the program, about missing Windows files,
or Windows system files which are too old, please report these errors,
so we can include these files.
** note
On some Windows 98 systems the OLEOUT32.DLL needs to be replaced by a newer version.
This will be done automatically, but the system needs to reboot during the installing.

INSTALLING dahsign_install.exe
clicking on dahsign_install.exe will automatically unzip the
DahediSign program and start the Setup program.
Installing will create the c:\DahediSign map
and will extract the needed files into c:\DahediSign\downloaded
After that the setup.exe will create the
c:\Program Files\DahediSign map
and install the program there.
The DahediSign shortcut will be added in the START menu.
After starting the first time, a shortcut will be created on the DeskTop.
In case of any problems, please contact us.
If on your system any message should appear about a library which is missing or
too old, please report this immediately, so that we can support for those libraries also.

INSTALLING dahsign_upgrade.exe
clicking on dahsign_upgrade.exe will automatically unzip
and copy all files to the c:\Program Files\DahediSign map
After starting DahediSign the next time, after selecting the language,
the update should be working. If the copying succeeded, Dahedisign ALWAYS asks to
select the language again.
After this succeeded, you can see at the version number and date that the version now
running is newer than the version you had before.
Installing will NEVER overwrite or damage your saved drawings. |
| Uninstalling Uninstalling will never erase ore
damage your saved drawings.
You can go into your Configuration, choose 'SOFTWARE', 'UNINSTALL', 'DahediSign'
and the program will be removed. The map c:\Program files\DahediSign will remain and
can be removed by hand.
